Victoria Playhouse wins TIAPEI President's Award

March 03, 2011

Last night at the Tourism Industry Association of Prince Edward Island (TIAPEI) Gala Dinner & Awards Night, the Victoria Playhouse was given the President's Award for 2010. TIAPEI President, Thom MacMillan, cited the vibrant thirty year history of the Playhouse and its contribution to the social, cultural and economic life of the community, as the winning qualities. Artistic Director, Erskine Smith, and General Manager, Pat Stunden Smith, accepted the award on behalf of the Playhouse. Board members Steve Clement, Gabriel Bentley, John Robinson and Peter Bevan-Baker were also in attendance to share in the celebration. It was a great night for the Victoria Playhouse - Prince Edward Island's Little theatre that ACTS big!
